BAZAR
This instrument is a half-breed and is mentioned as a guitar and a member of the bouzouki family. You have arrived here from either world.... The scale lengths available are common for Irish bouzoukis and as well for most steel-string guitars. The stringing is bouzouki with a .012 to .045w set-up. The tonality is wonderful. Imagine the zing of the with the largeness of sound of the guitar. The depth and richness offered by the body size works fabulously with the twangy unison-strung set up. It can also be strung in octaves. This is a fine instrument if you are a guitarist wanting to play a bouzouki and not willing to leave the comfort of playing a guitar body or the guitar sound. This can make the difference. Also available with a harlequin top : half englemann spruce, half western red cedar. See the Commodore guitar page for more on this concept.
